Native American Dollar Obverse

The Native American Dollar series picked up where the prior Sacagawea Dollar series left off. From 2009, the date and mint mark to the edge of the coin. The remaining design featuring the Shoshone woman known as Sacagawea and her child Jean Baptiste Charnneau remained unchanged. Reverse designs would rotate each year, featuring contributions of Native Americans.
