America the Beautiful Silver Coin Obverse

The new series of 5 ounce silver bullion coins offered by the US Mint will feature the designs of the corresponding commemorative quarter. The reverse of each coin represents the park or site, while the obverse features a portrait of George Washington designed by John Flanagan. The image has a greater level of detail than the quarter and is based on the original version used in 1932.

The America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins will be issued each year from 2010 to 2021, with five coins per year for eleven years, and a single coin in the final year of issue.
