America the Beautiful Quarters

The obverse for each coin in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program will feature a common design. This is represented by the 1932 portrait of George Washington by John Flanagan that was originally the design for the Washington Quarter. The portrait has been restored to bring out subtle details and the beauty of the original model. Inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and QUARTER DOLLAR.
