$25 American Gold Eagle Bullion Coin

Containing one half ounce of gold, the $25 American Gold Eagle has been issued by the US Mint each year from 1986 to present. Although the most popular version of the coin is the standard one ounce size, the one half ounce coins provide a useful alternative for previous metals investors. As an added appeal, some $25 Gold Eagles have lower mintages, providing a numismatic premium.
