2008 American Gold Eagle Proof Coin

The 2008 Proof Gold Eagle would actually remain the last proof version of the bullion coin that was available from the US Mint for more than a year. Because of high demand for bullion coins, the collectible versions were canceled in 2009. However, the Proof Gold Eagles will be issued for 2010.
