1988 Seoul Olympiad Silver Dollar Obverse

This coin includes Lady Liberty’s torch and the Olympic Torch merging into a single symbolic flame with olive branches encircling the torches. The 1988 Olympic Silver Dollar was issued to mark the United States team’s participation in the Seoul Olympics. This coin was designed by Patricia Lewis Verani.
